About this site
Corrections
eupublicdata aggregates millions of cells from many providers. Errors happen — in the upstream source, in our normalisation, in our copy. We try to fix them quickly and transparently.
How to flag an error
Email [email protected] with:
- The URL of the page in question.
- The specific figure, chart, table cell or paragraph that you believe is wrong.
- What you believe the correct value or wording is.
- A pointer to the primary source backing your view (Eurostat code, dataset URL, institutional document).
What happens next
- We acknowledge receipt within 72 hours.
- We re-fetch the named source and reproduce the discrepancy.
- If the issue is in our pipeline (parsing, aggregation, copy), we fix it and redeploy within a week of confirmation. The Git commit is the audit trail.
- If the issue is upstream (the source provider's published figure has been revised or is itself in error), we update to the latest published vintage and, where material, annotate the chart with a methodology note.
- For material corrections (a figure changes by >5%, a country ranking flips, a headline number on a hub page moves) we add an entry to the log below.
Materiality threshold
Trivial corrections (typos, alt-text fixes, chart-axis tweaks, broken links) are pushed silently via Git history. Material corrections — those that change what a careful reader would have taken away from the page — are logged here with the date, the page affected, what was wrong, and what was changed.

No material corrections logged yet. New entries appear at the top.
Right of reply
If an organisation, public official or institution wishes to add context to a page that mentions them, write to [email protected]. We will consider the request on its merits. We are not obliged to publish replies, but will not silently ignore reasoned ones.
