eupublicdata is operated by an Italian VAT-registered freelancer (P.IVA, Carpi, MO, Italy) as a non-profit civic project. This page describes how the site handles personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Legal basis

The publication of aggregate statistical data sourced from public institutional providers relies on Art. 6(1)(e) GDPR — performance of a task carried out in the public interest. No personally identifying information of natural persons appears on this site.

Cookies & tracking

eupublicdata does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Site analytics, when active, use a privacy-friendly provider (Plausible Analytics or Cloudflare Web Analytics) that does not collect IP addresses, does not use cookies, does not build user profiles and is fully GDPR-compliant by design. No consent banner is therefore required.

Hosting & data flow

The site is statically generated and served via Cloudflare Pages. HTTP request logs may be retained briefly by the CDN for security purposes and are not used for profiling. Data adapters fetch directly from public providers; no third-party tracking pixels or ad networks are loaded.

Your rights

Where any aggregate appears that identifies you (none does, by design), you may write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days, in line with Articles 15–22 GDPR.

Data Protection Officer

A DPO is not appointed: the site does not engage in large-scale or systematic monitoring (Art. 37(1) GDPR). The data controller is reachable at the address above.
