In 2014, Hungary's prison population (juveniles) decreased by 11.3% compared to 2013, reaching 424.

Hungary ranks 7th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 17.2% (from 512 in 2009).
