In 2025, Ireland's return orders issued to non-eu citizens increased by 91.1% compared to 2024, reaching 6,260.

Ireland ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 687.4% (from 795 in 2020).
