Return orders issued to non-EU citizens

In 2025, Malta's return orders issued to non-eu citizens increased by 28.2% compared to 2024, reaching 1,090.

Malta ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 84.7% (from 590 in 2020).
