Return orders issued to non-EU citizens

In 2019, Portugal's return orders issued to non-eu citizens increased by 30.3% compared to 2018, reaching 5,980.

Portugal accounts for 1.2% of the EU-27 total of 491,195.

Portugal ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 55.5% (from 3,845 in 2014).
