In 2025, Romania's return orders issued to non-eu citizens decreased by 26.6% compared to 2024, reaching 2,860.

Romania ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 18.4% (from 2,415 in 2020).
