Prison population (juveniles)

In 2018, Latvia's prison population (juveniles) decreased by 14.6% compared to 2017, reaching 35.

Latvia ranks 16th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 23.9% (from 46 in 2013).
