Prison population (juveniles)

In 2019, Latvia's prison population (juveniles) increased by 2.9% compared to 2018, reaching 36.

Latvia ranks 16th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.3% (from 38 in 2014).
