Prison population (juveniles)

In 2020, Latvia's prison population (juveniles) decreased by 30.6% compared to 2019, reaching 25.

Latvia ranks 18th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 40.5% (from 42 in 2015).
