Return orders issued to non-EU citizens

In 2016, Portugal's return orders issued to non-eu citizens increased by 22.0% compared to 2015, reaching 6,200.

Portugal accounts for 1.5% of the EU-27 total of 426,255.

Portugal ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 27.7% (from 8,570 in 2011).
