Return orders issued to non-EU citizens

In 2017, Portugal's return orders issued to non-eu citizens decreased by 7.1% compared to 2016, reaching 5,760.

Portugal accounts for 1.3% of the EU-27 total of 450,390.

Portugal ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 32.7% (from 8,565 in 2012).
