At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2008, Austria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 22.3% compared to 2007, reaching 18.1%.

Austria ranks 13th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 18.3% (from 15.3% in 2003).
