Level of internet access - households

In 2020, Bulgaria's level of internet access increased by 5.0% compared to 2019, reaching 78.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 91.3%.

Bulgaria ranks 26th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 33.3% (from 59.1% in 2015).
