In 2023, Croatia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 1.7% compared to 2022, reaching 11,270.

Croatia ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.5% (from 12,190 in 2018).
