GERD by sector of performance

In 2024, Cyprus's GERD by sector of performance decreased by 1.5% compared to 2023, reaching 0.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 2.2%.

Cyprus ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.1% (from 0.7% in 2019).
