GERD by sector of performance

In 2022, France's GERD by sector of performance increased by 0.5% compared to 2021, reaching 2.2%.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 2.2%.

France ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.9% (from 2.2% in 2017).
