Level of internet access - households

In 2024, Germany's level of internet access increased by 1.1% compared to 2023, reaching 92.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 94.2%.

Germany ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.3% (from 94.8% in 2019).
