In 2017, Greece's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 3.7% compared to 2016, reaching 78.

Greece ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 52.7% (from 165 in 2012).
