In 2015, Ireland's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 43.4% compared to 2014, reaching 30.

Ireland ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 45.5% (from 55 in 2010).
