GERD by sector of performance

In 2007, Italy's GERD by sector of performance increased by 3.7% compared to 2006, reaching 1.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 1.8%.

Italy ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.7% (from 1.1% in 2002).
