Level of internet access - households

In 2021, Italy's level of internet access increased by 2.7% compared to 2020, reaching 90.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 92.3%.

Italy ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.3% (from 78.5% in 2016).
