In 2018, Lithuania's motor coaches, buses and trolley buses, by type of motor energy increased by 4.7% compared to 2017, reaching 7,925.

Lithuania accounts for 1.1% of the EU-27 total of 720,271.

Lithuania ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 39.3% (from 13,063 in 2013).
