In 2020, Lithuania's motor coaches, buses and trolley buses, by type of motor energy decreased by 0.9% compared to 2019, reaching 8,070.

Lithuania accounts for 1.1% of the EU-27 total of 706,705.

Lithuania ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.8% (from 7,286 in 2015).
