Municipal waste by waste management operations

In 2007, Lithuania's municipal waste by waste management operations increased by 3.5% compared to 2006, reaching 419.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 517.0.

Lithuania ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.5% (from 405.0 in 2002).
