In 2024, Malta's level of internet access increased by 2.2% compared to 2023, reaching 95.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 94.2%.

Malta ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.0% (from 86.1% in 2019).
