In 2013, Slovakia's passenger cars, by type of motor energy and size of engine increased by 3.0% compared to 2012, reaching 1,879,800.

Slovakia ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.7% (from 1,544,900 in 2008).
