In 2022, Sweden's motor coaches, buses and trolley buses, by type of motor energy increased by 4.7% compared to 2021, reaching 14,238.

Sweden ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.2% (from 14,418 in 2017).
