In 2013, Sweden's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 27.9% compared to 2012, reaching 87.

Sweden ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.1% (from 82 in 2008).
