At-risk-of-poverty rate of elderly people by tenure status - EU-SILC survey

In 2022, Austria's at-risk-of-poverty rate of elderly people by tenure status increased by 0.7% compared to 2021, reaching 14.9.

Austria accounts for 86.1% of the EU-27 total of 17.3.

Austria ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.5% (from 12.9 in 2017).
