At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2015, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 4.3% compared to 2014, reaching 18.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

Belgium ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.6% (from 18.3% in 2010).
