At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2006, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 2005, reaching 15.6%.

Belgium ranks 12th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.0% (from 15.0% in 2001).
