At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2008, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 5.6% compared to 2007, reaching 13.6%.

Belgium ranks 16th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.9% (from 14.3% in 2003).
