Employment rates by citizenship

In 2010, Belgium's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.9% compared to 2009, reaching 56.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 57.3%.

Belgium ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.0% (from 53.8% in 2005).
