Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2023, Belgium's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.6% compared to 2022, reaching 88.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 87.6%.

Belgium ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.4% (from 86.1% in 2018).
