At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2007, Bulgaria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 20.8% compared to 2006, reaching 20.9%.

Bulgaria ranks 2nd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 74.2% (from 12.0% in 2002).
