At-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status - EU-SILC survey

In 2021, Bulgaria's at-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status increased by 4.2% compared to 2020, reaching 10.0.

Bulgaria accounts for 112.4% of the EU-27 total of 8.90.

Bulgaria ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 12.3% (from 11.4 in 2016).
