In 2025, Bulgaria's level of internet access increased by 0.8% compared to 2024, reaching 92.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 94.7%.

Bulgaria ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 17.7% (from 78.9% in 2020).
