In 2024, Bulgaria's level of internet access increased by 4.1% compared to 2023, reaching 92.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 94.2%.

Bulgaria ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 22.7% (from 75.1% in 2019).
