In 2017, Croatia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 4.5% compared to 2016, reaching 46.

Croatia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.8% (from 51 in 2012).
