In 2016, Croatia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 18.9% compared to 2015, reaching 44.

Croatia ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.2% (from 49 in 2011).
