In 2016, Croatia's share of total population living in a dwelling with a leaking roof, damp walls, floors or foundation, or rot in window frames of floor increased by 5.5% compared to 2015, reaching 11.5.

Croatia ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 24.3% (from 15.2 in 2011).
