Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2021, Cyprus's early leavers from education and training by labour status decreased by 15.5% compared to 2020, reaching 9.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 9.7%.

Cyprus ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 28.9% (from 7.6% in 2016).
