General government expenditure by function (COFOG)

In 2007, Cyprus's general government expenditure by function (COFOG) decreased by 4.0% compared to 2006, reaching 11.9%.

Cyprus ranks 21st out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.3% (from 10.6% in 2002).
