Inequality of income distribution

In 2025, Cyprus's inequality of income distribution increased by 4.5% compared to 2024, reaching 9.20.

Cyprus accounts for 99.6% of the EU-27 total of 9.24.

Cyprus ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.5% (from 8.56 in 2020).
