In 2020, Cyprus's at-risk-of poverty rate by household type increased by 4.3% compared to 2019, reaching 24.2.

Cyprus accounts for 89.6% of the EU-27 total of 27.0.

Cyprus ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.5% (from 25.6 in 2015).
