At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Czechia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 9.5% compared to 2020, reaching 8.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.8%.

Czechia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.3% (from 9.7% in 2016).
