At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2019, Czechia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.1% compared to 2018, reaching 12.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.2%.

Czechia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.2% (from 10.5% in 2014).
