At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2018, Czechia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.6% compared to 2017, reaching 7.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Czechia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.3% (from 7.7% in 2013).
