General government expenditure by function (COFOG)

In 2009, Czechia's general government expenditure by function (COFOG) increased by 8.8% compared to 2008, reaching 44.5%.

Czechia ranks 22nd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.5% (from 42.2% in 2004).
